Quinsite is hiring a Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) to represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. in Iraq. This highly specialized role involves delivering advanced medical care to critically ill or injured patients, including Department of Defense and contractor personnel, at emergency scenes and during inter-facility transport.
What You'll Do
- Provide advanced life support and critical care during emergency responses and transports.
- Assess, triage, and manage critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital settings.
- Perform advanced airway management, including intubation and ventilation.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care drug infusions per established protocols.
- Operate and interpret advanced medical equipment like cardiac monitors and ventilators.
- Manage complex conditions including severe trauma, cardiac arrest, and respiratory distress.
- Execute advanced resuscitation techniques and other critical interventions.
- Insert intraosseous cannulas and treat life-threatening chest injuries.
- Interpret 12-lead ECGs and conduct hemodynamic monitoring.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to other EMS personnel.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuing education programs.
- Assist medical providers with procedures within your licensed scope of practice.
- Assess, document, and maintain patient records including vital signs, history, and care administered.
- Maintain and restock clinical supply inventory.
- Crosstrain to work within clinics, emergency rooms, and inpatient units.
- Complete required organizational compliance education and training.
What We're Looking For
- U.S. state-licensed Paramedic, with National Registry EMT-P or current unrestricted license.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Completion of an advanced trauma course (PHTLS, ITLS, TCCC, etc.).
- Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) from an accredited program.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment and make quick decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Certification as a Paramedic from a recognized program.
- Ability to meet pre-deployment physical requirements.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Valid US Passport with at least 18 months before expiration.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (MRPT).
- Relocate to Iraq for the project duration.
- Read, write, and speak English effectively.
Nice to Have
- Flight Paramedic certification (FP-C).
- Experience working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor on a military site.
- Applicants with current security clearances.
