Alstom is looking for a Cost Controlling Transformation Analyst (VIE) to join the ANZ Finance team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind building a robust, scalable, and business-owned cost controlling framework for the cluster, acting as project coordinator and transformation engine. You will also support selected monthly closing, forecasting, and budget activities.
What You'll Do
- Establish a robust, scalable, and business-owned cost controlling framework for the ANZ cluster.
- Enable stronger cost accountability from Functions and Managing Units.
- Develop fit-for-purpose tools, such as Power BI reporting and finance for non-finance packs.
- Develop standard processes for cost follow-up, cut-off rules, allocation logic, and budget/forecast routines.
- Develop clear governance, including cadences, templates, responsibilities, and ownership models.
- Develop and implement change management plans, including training, communication, and adoption tracking.
- Act as the project coordinator and transformation engine for the framework rollout.
- Support selected monthly closing, forecasting, and budget activities in partnership with the FP&A team.
What We're Looking For
- A Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure and simplify complex data.
- Solid command of Excel.
- Understanding of cost controlling, budgeting, and financial processes.
- Appetite for process design, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to coordinate with technical teams (BI, GFC, IT) to translate business needs.
- Strong communication skills, able to interact confidently with non-finance stakeholders.
- A structured, organized individual able to manage small transformation projects.
- A curious, proactive mindset with the ability to challenge existing practices.
- Comfort driving change and encouraging business ownership.
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and culturally aware, given ANZ and offshore interactions.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) is a must.
- Eligibility for the VIE programme.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with Power BI is a strong plus.
