Dexcom Corporation is seeking a Sr Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Supply Chain Planning & Advanced Analytics function within Dexcom Global Business Services. In this role, you will contribute to a team dedicated to transforming raw data into strategic insights.
What You'll Do
- Collect and compile data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs.
- Clean, validate, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Assist in developing predictive models and data-driven solutions to optimize business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks.
- Document and provide timely execution of assigned tasks in an agile development environment.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5-8 years related experience, or a Master’s degree with 2-5 years experience, or a PhD with 0-2 years experience.
- Proficient in SQL for querying databases like BigQuery and Redshift.
- Advanced understanding of data visualization principles and experience with tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects to completion with various stakeholders.
