Brakes Plus is looking for a Corporate Recruiter to drive our talent acquisition strategy, focusing on critical roles like Service Advisors and Certified Technicians. You will be central to building our teams and directly supporting our growth across locations.
What You'll Do
- Proactively create and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through cold calling, networking, and data mining.
- Influence passive job seekers to pursue opportunities within Brakes Plus.
- Maintain recruiting requirements by reviewing store positions, plans, and objectives weekly with the People Operations Manager.
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules.
- Assist in creation and execution of quarterly open house events and annual career fair schedule.
- Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers.
- Assist with coordination of TAP, SAT, and BPU programs across the Brakes Plus footprint.
- Work with Human Resources to assist in coordination of the onboarding process for new hires.
- Cultivate candidate touchpoints from application to hire.
- Communicate with hiring managers and partners on progress and escalate issues as needed.
- Share market information and educate managers on current recruitment challenges.
- Actively pursue job-specific training opportunities and professional networking organizations.
- Serve as a Brakes Plus brand ambassador.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the People Operations Manager, partnering closely with hiring managers and the broader Human Resources team.
