Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain a consistent flow of qualified applicants, focusing on Service Advisors and Certified Technicians, using outreach methods like cold calling, networking, and data analysis
  • Engage and persuade passive candidates to consider employment opportunities
  • Ensure alignment with recruiting standards by reviewing store staffing needs and goals, discussed weekly with the People Operations Manager
  • Assess candidate suitability through interviews, reference checks, and evaluation of qualifications against job criteria
  • Coordinate schedules to set up management interviews
  • Support planning and implementation of quarterly open house events and annual career fairs
  • Review applicant fit by consulting with hiring managers on job expectations and candidate backgrounds
  • Help manage the rollout of TAP, SAT, and BPU programs across all locations
  • Collaborate with HR to support new hire onboarding procedures
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Update hiring managers and stakeholders on recruitment progress and flag issues when necessary
  • Provide insights on labor market trends and inform managers about current hiring challenges
  • Pursue role-related training and join professional networks to enhance performance
  • Represent the organization positively in all external interactions

  • Effectively influence passive job seekers to pursue opportunities within BP.
  • Maintain the established recruiting requirements by reviewing store positions, plans and objectives to be discussed on a weekly basis with People Operations Manager
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references and comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Assist in creation and execution of quarterly open house events, as well as annual career fair schedule
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers
  • Assist with the coordination of the TAP, SAT, and BPU programs across the Brakes Plus footprint
  • Work with Human Resources department and assist in the coordination of the on boarding process for new hires
  • Cultivate candidate touchpoints from application to hire
  • Communicate with hiring managers and partners of progress and escalate issues as needed
  • Share market information and educate managers on current recruitment challenges/conditions
  • Actively pursue job specific training opportunities, as well as professional networking organizations that can lead to increased success in role
  • Serve as a Brakes Plus brand ambassador

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for supporting the recruitment function of Brakes Plus by proactively identifying candidates and creating a pipeline of talent to improve quality of hire and time to fill. This position is also responsible for coordinating the recruiting efforts between Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Managers, Store Managers, other various Hiring Managers and the Human Resources Department. This position is not remote, and will be located in Centennial, CO.
