Vodafone is seeking a Core Network Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will monitor network elements to detect, escalate, and manage incidents, changes, or problems affecting service availability and quality. You will act as the single point of contact for internal technical teams, regional NOCs, and operators, ensuring quick and professional resolution, and handle technical resolution for customer complaint tickets related to Core and Roaming services.
What You'll Do
- Perform network supervision and monitoring.
- Conduct troubleshooting at the first level of network entities.
- Control change and configuration management activities.
- Manage network incidents and crises.
- Monitor network performance.
- Support network expansions and enhancements.
- Handle and resolve customer trouble tickets.
- Keep records of occurred incidents according to local and global governance.
- Contribute to the development and operation of Network Management systems.
- Provide accurate reports on time, according to management requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Self-motivation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to changing conditions, work priorities, and organizational needs.
- At least two (2) years of experience in telecommunications or Computer Systems.
- Good knowledge of converged Networks architecture.
- Strong customer orientation attitude.
- Ability to take initiatives, stay alert, and have a sense of urgency.
- Skilled at cross-functional collaboration to achieve business goals.
- First degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Very good oral and written knowledge of the English language.
Nice to Have
- Fundamental understanding of and hands-on experience with network technologies including Voice and Data Core, Cloud, and NFV.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT).
