VaynerMedia is looking for a sharp, community-focused Copywriter to be the voice for a new-age tech and mobile brand’s community. This role blends creative writing with real-time engagement, crafting posts, announcements, and witty responses to make every brand touchpoint feel human and engaging.
What You'll Do
- Write engaging threads for community forums, event updates, and campaign announcements.
- Adapt tone for different formats, from short posts and polls to long reads and interactive threads.
- Craft witty replies and thoughtful responses to keep conversations active and authentic.
- Travel occasionally on weekends to cover and support community events.
- Create recap event coverage threads and social media posts.
- Assist with on-ground coordination and contribute to post-event recaps.
- Maintain a consistent voice across all community channels.
- Ensure content reflects the brand’s energetic, relatable, and inclusive personality.
- Partner with the client's marketing teams to align with campaigns and visuals.
- Work with community managers and stakeholders to plan content calendars.
- Spot conversation trends and turn them into opportunities for participation.
- Support campaign planning with creative ideas for posts, prompts, and challenges.
What We're Looking For
- 6 months of copywriting or content writing experience via an internship.
- Exceptional written communication skills with a strong sense of tone and pacing.
- Ability to write both quick-turnaround reactive content and polished campaign copy.
- Comfort with live event coverage and occasional weekend travel.
- Understanding of online community culture and digital engagement trends.
Nice to Have
- Experience in community management or with lifestyle and tech brands.
- Experience in gaming, e-sports, or creator-driven ecosystems.
