Carat, a dentsu company, is looking for a Copywriter to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with creative partners, client services, and project management teams to develop high-quality, impactful solutions for clients across a variety of media channels. You will generate ideas, shape visual direction, and bring concepts to life in ways that resonate with diverse audiences.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with an Art Director partner to execute creative concepts under the guidance of the Creative Director.
- Contribute original thinking and help shape big, culturally aware ideas.
- Ensure all written communication reflects the brand’s tone, voice, and strategic positioning.
- Deliver innovative and high-quality work that meets strategic goals, client expectations, and inclusive storytelling standards.
- Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and collaborative teams in a deadline-driven environment.
- Communicate ideas clearly—on brand, on message, and tailored to the intended audience.
- Present ideas to internal teams and, when needed, to clients with clarity, structure, and an inclusive communication style.
- Understand and consistently apply brand guidelines, continuity standards, and positioning.
- Update and refine copy decks, scripts, and written assets with attention to detail and inclusivity.
- Contribute writing and conceptual thinking to new business pitches.
- Proactively identify opportunities to elevate creative quality and storytelling, with support from senior team members and directors.
- Use and engage with emerging AI tools to enhance creative development, visual exploration, and workflow efficiency in an ethical and inclusive way.
- Continue learning and building AI creative craft, experimenting with new technologies to support innovative and responsible creative solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in copywriting or a similar creative role.
- Experience contributing to work that reflects cultural awareness, inclusive communication, and diverse perspectives.
- Strong conceptual thinking and experience working on integrated advertising campaigns.
- Ability to turn creativity, insights, emerging technologies, and strategic thinking into compelling written solutions.
- Proven writing craftsmanship across a variety of media and formats.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort presenting ideas to groups in an inclusive and engaging way.
