Cardinal Health is looking for a Coordinator, Individualized Care, Pharmacy Services to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls and managing workload to resolve patient and physician inquiries, as well as process patient referrals for specialty pharmaceutical support services.

What You'll Do

  • Handle inbound calls, determine needs, and provide one call resolution.
  • Manage workload of inbound faxes (if applicable).
  • Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Enter detailed information into company proprietary software while conversing via telephone.
  • Place outbound phone calls for patient follow ups, confirmations, or to obtain missing information.
  • Interact with patient referral sources to process new applicants.
  • Follow up with other internal team members regarding next steps.
  • Communicate with external constituents including physician offices and pharmacies.
  • Identify, document, and submit Adverse Events during customer contact or via received documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years’ experience in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft systems, and telephony.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to be an independent worker and self-directed.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time in a cubicle setting.
  • Demonstrate superior customer support talents.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work any schedule between 7am-5pm M-F.

Nice to Have

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Compensation: $18.10 per hour - $25.80 per hour.
