Whitsons Culinary Group is hiring a Seasonal Cook to play a vital role in preparing meals within a secure residential environment. This position focuses on bringing comfort, nourishment, and stability through food. It starts at approximately 20 hours per week during training, then transitions to a 40-hour schedule for the Summer Camp Program in July and August.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook meals based on set menus and specific dietary guidelines.
- Follow batch-cooking practices to maintain quality, freshness, and proper timing.
- Ensure food is served safely with correct portions, temperatures, and presentation.
- Keep kitchen and prep areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Log food temperatures and complete all required records and checklists.
- Assist with food orders and deliveries as needed.
- Follow all sanitation, food safety, and company procedures diligently.
- Support a respectful and routine-focused kitchen environment.
