VergeSense is hiring a Controller to join our Finance & Accounting department. This role will be responsible for leading accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage all aspects of the accounting close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and publish GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Establish and maintain internal financial controls and policies
- Manage compliance with tax filings and statutory reporting requirements
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic planning
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including time in a leadership role
- 5+ years of experience managing and developing an accounting team
- Deep expertise in US GAAP, financial reporting, and technical accounting
- Proven track record of building and scaling accounting processes in a high-growth environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
