About the Role
The Subaward Analyst will support the management of subaward agreements by ensuring compliance, monitoring performance, and maintaining accurate records throughout the award lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze subaward agreements for completeness and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure proper contract terms
- Track subaward milestones and deliverables across multiple projects
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for audit readiness
- Support the development of subaward budgets and financial plans
- Monitor subrecipient performance against contractual obligations
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners
- Identify risks related to subaward management and recommend solutions
- Ensure adherence to donor requirements and federal regulations
- Assist in the onboarding process for new subrecipients
- Conduct site visits or virtual check-ins with subrecipients as needed
- Generate regular reports on subaward status and performance metrics
- Maintain up-to-date records in the contract management system
- Provide input on subaward closeout procedures
- Support training initiatives for staff involved in subaward processes
- Evaluate subrecipient financial systems and monitoring plans
- Coordinate with procurement and grants teams on integrated projects
- Assist in drafting modifications and amendments to active subawards
- Ensure timely submission of required reports from subrecipients
- Promote consistency in contract language and compliance standards
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding subaward status
- Participate in system improvement initiatives for contract tracking tools
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive contractual information
- Support internal and external audit processes as needed
- Stay current with changes in relevant regulations and policies

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on computer systems
