Role Overview
This position leads the contract negotiation and management function in Brazil, ensuring commercial agreements are reviewed efficiently and in alignment with company policies, compliance standards, and risk thresholds. Reporting to the Global Contract Strategy Leader, the specialist acts as the main point of contact for contractual issues within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, prepare, and negotiate various commercial contracts including vendor agreements, customer deals, partnerships, SaaS arrangements, NDAs, and master service agreements
- Ensure all contracts meet internal guidelines, legal requirements, and risk parameters
- Manage the full contract lifecycle—from initial request through redlining, approvals, and final execution—using the company’s contract management platform
- Collaborate with Sales and Alliances teams to finalize agreements with clients and partners in the digital commerce space
- Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Privacy, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure contract terms reflect real-world operations
- Support the improvement and adoption of the contract management system (CLM), including training and process optimization for local teams
- Maintain consistency with global contract practices, internal controls, and governance procedures
Required Qualifications
- Law degree with active legal license and experience in commercial law, contract law, or e-commerce
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese
- Advanced English proficiency
- 3 to 5 years of legal experience, either at a top-tier law firm or in-house at a multinational organization
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Thursday in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo

Preferred Qualifications
- Background in technology companies
- Working knowledge of Spanish
- Experience with implementation or administration of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems

Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence from Monday to Thursday at either the Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo office, with Friday available for remote work.
