Virta Health is hiring a Continuity Clinician - Medical Doctor to join our core clinical team. You will provide continuous remote care to a panel of patients managing type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, and weight concerns. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- Provide the highest quality patient-centered care.
- Manage your panel of patients through continuous remote care.
- Collaborate with our team of expert health coaches and be supported by the rest of our clinicians, including our endocrinology team.
- Be proactive in ensuring adequate follow-up of patients and their concerns.
- Share after-hours coverage with our team.
- Actively participate in the development of new technology and protocols to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers & health coaches.
- Supervise NP members of the team and contribute to improving quality of care.
What We're Looking For
- Unrestricted medical license.
- Willingness & ability to get additional state licenses.
- Board certified in a relevant specialty (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Endocrinology are preferred).
- Experience and competence in diabetes management.
- Outstanding bedside manner & patient service orientation.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Deep interest in the science behind Virta, and commitment to Virta’s nutritional approach to diabetes reversal.
- A growth mindset, being flexible and agile in a rapidly growing company.
Nice to Have
- Multiple state licenses.
- Living in an IMLC state.
- Telemedicine experience.

Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary range: $178,350 - $205,000.
Work Mode
This is a remote position open to candidates located in the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Rhode Island for clinical roles).
