As a Content Strategist, you'll play a central role in shaping and managing data-led content strategies for a leading UK finance client. Embedded within the Organic Performance team, you'll focus on enhancing digital visibility and user engagement through integrated approaches to SEO, GEO, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute content strategies that drive measurable business outcomes across organic channels
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all content-related initiatives, from strategic planning to on-site implementation
- Collaborate with internal specialists in brand content, paid search, and influencer marketing, as well as external agencies
- Guide editorial development and content direction for high-profile UK brands
- Analyse performance data to assess ROI and refine future content planning
- Support senior team members in advancing the agency’s broader content vision
- Champion content as a driver of digital performance, including within evolving spaces such as large language models
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in designing and managing end-to-end content strategies
- Solid understanding of SEO and GEO principles and their impact on content performance
- Ability to translate insights into actionable plans that meet client goals
- Strong communication skills with experience engaging stakeholders at multiple levels
- Project management capabilities to balance multiple priorities efficiently
- Proficiency with SEO and content marketing tools
- Editorial or copywriting ability is highly valued
- Familiarity with organic social and influencer marketing is a plus
Work Environment
This role operates under a hybrid model, with three days per week in the office and two days remote. Core working hours are from 10:30 to 16:30, though flexibility is built in—options include an early shift (8:30–16:30) or a later finish (10:30–18:30).
