Directive was looking for a Content Manager (Remote Mexico) - Future Opening

Directive Consulting is hiring a Content Manager to play a crucial, client-facing role in developing and executing holistic marketing strategies for our Enterprise clients. You will be responsible for creating custom client strategies, managing day-to-day deliverables, and serving as the primary interface for communication.

What You'll Do

  • Create custom strategies and implement best practices for clients to achieve their North Star Metrics (NSMs).
  • Build and optimize strategies using project phase, client marketing goals, campaigns, and historical performance data.
  • Craft creative briefs and compelling content campaigns based on competitor and audience insights.
  • Use available data from tools like Google Analytics, CRM, SEMRush, and Ahrefs to set and present client goals, approved by an Associate Director.
  • Ensure strategy execution via project management, delegating tasks in Asana to team members and clients.
  • Work with content writers and designers to complete content campaigns on time and to client quality standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients as the main interface, communicating proactively about timelines, goal progress, and roadblocks.
  • Report to clients bi-weekly on NSM progress and deliverables, and provide monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual business reviews.
  • Regularly identify opportunities for client growth within Directive, including upsells, cross-sells, and referrals.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record of success implementing SEO principles and content strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and link building.
  • Analytical insight and the ability to analyse website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort in client-facing roles, owning relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong familiarity with industry tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog or other crawling tools.
  • Proven organisational, project, and time management skills.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content.
  • Must have agency experience.
  • Must have B2B tech and/or SaaS experience.

Team & Environment

You will report to an Associate Director (AsD) and work closely with them. You will also partner with Project Managers, content writers, and designers to execute client strategies.
