AECOM is looking for a Contaminated Land Scientist to join our Geosciences and Remediation Services team within our environmental practice. You will tackle challenging projects across various sectors, with a mix of fieldwork and office work on both local and interstate client sites.
What You'll Do
- Conduct preliminary and detailed site investigations including preparation, sampling, and reporting.
- Perform due diligence assessments.
- Manage data and produce digital reports.
- Develop remedial action plans and site validation reports.
- Supervise sub-contractors and remediation contractors during remediation work.
What We're Looking For
- Open driver's licence and ability to obtain Defence security clearance.
Nice to Have
- Experience in contaminated land management and environmental services, or a demonstrated interest to move into this field.
- Proficiency in site investigations including sampling for soil, soil vapour, surface water, and groundwater.
- Strong communication skills and experience with data management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, agriculture, or earth science.
- Ability to work safely on-site and manage subcontractors; willingness to work remotely.
