The Consultative Phone Sales Associate at Eurofins Scientific plays a key role in delivering exceptional service and driving sales for DNA testing solutions. In this position, you'll serve as the first point of contact for customers, using active listening and consultative techniques to understand needs, provide solutions, and close sales with professionalism and empathy during sensitive interactions.
What You'll Do
- Field 30-40 inbound calls per day requiring active listening and documenting customer details
- Quickly understand and analyze customer needs to provide logical solutions
- Explain DDC’s products and services in a professional manner via phone, email, text message, or chat
- Utilize consultative sales techniques to overcome objections and close sales
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and sensitivity when handling confidential or emotional inquiries
- Achieve or exceed performance goals including Closing %, Revenue Per Call, and Calls Per Day
- Escalate customer needs that require additional knowledge or ability to leadership
- Research required information using available resources
- Attend training and coaching sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills
- Able to document information in an application while on an active call
- Able to learn other database and communication software, as applicable
- Follow DDC procedures and guidelines to ensure that DDC’s services are offered in a manner consistent with our mission and vision statements
- Other duties as assigned or become evident
