About the Role

UNESCO is hiring a Consultant - Tutor for the second cohort of the online course Foundations of Disability-Inclusive Education Sector Planning. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of the course's technical, pedagogical, and organizational components, acting as the central coordination point between participants and the course team.

What You'll Do

  • Elaborate a post-course evaluation report on participant engagement, accommodations, and communications for cohort 1.
  • Upload announcements documents on SharePoint for review, including a detailed schedule and draft messages in English, French, and Portuguese.
  • Update the announcements document weekly with all messages sent.
  • Ensure Portuguese terminology follows African Portuguese vocabulary standards.
  • Provide support for organizing the Module 2 workshop webinar.
  • Provide technical assistance for all live sessions, answering participant questions in three languages and translating questions and comments for facilitators.

Team & Environment

You will work under the authority of the Head of the IIEP-UNESCO in Africa office, under the project officer’s supervision, with guidance from two course co-coordinators. You will report to the Project Officer.

This is a remote position based out of Dakar.
