Mediix is looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist | Forensic to join our team in Central Australia. This role balances expert psychiatric care between forensic and community mental health settings, working within a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and contributing to teaching programs.
What You'll Do
- Deliver expert psychiatric care across community and forensic settings (50:50 split).
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to improve mental health outcomes.
- Contribute to teaching psychiatry to medical students and postgraduate trainees.
What We're Looking For
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent.
- Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- A genuine interest in rural and remote health and a commitment to culturally sensitive care.

You will be part of the Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drugs team.

- Compensation up to $347,549 (inclusive of allowances).
