Mediix is looking for a Consultant Paediatrician to join a regional Western Australian health service. You will provide essential paediatric and neonatal services across the region. This is a permanent or fixed-term position offering full-time, part-time, or sessional options, with a competitive remuneration package and significant lifestyle benefits.
What You'll Do
- Provide acute and chronic paediatric care.
- Manage neonatal and emergency presentations.
- Gain exposure to developmental paediatrics.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities.
- Teach and supervise junior medical staff.
- Actively participate in clinical governance and service improvement.
What We're Looking For
- FRACP (Paediatrics & Child Health) or equivalent qualification.
- Eligibility for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
Nice to Have
- A strong interest in neonatal and developmental paediatrics.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff.
- Commitment to culturally respectful healthcare delivery.
Team & Environment
You will join an established, collaborative team including Consultant Paediatricians, a Senior Registrar, Registrar, Residents & Interns, and a Dedicated Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist.

- Total package approximately $412,000 – $523,000 per annum, inclusive of base, 12% superannuation, and regional allowances.
