Prometeia is seeking ALM & Treasury Risk Consultants / Senior Consultants to join their specialized team in Istanbul, supporting project managers in financial risk and credit risk domains. The role involves working on Asset & Liability Management, Liquidity Risk, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and system implementation projects for financial institutions at LE003 Turkey Branch.
What You'll Do
- Join a specialized team based in İstanbul, operating within the financial risk or/and credit risk subjects
- Support project managers in the management of activities relating to Asset & Liability Management
- Support project managers in the management of activities relating to Liquidity Risk Management
- Support project managers in the management of activities relating to Market Risk Analysis
- Support project managers in the management of activities relating to Credit Risk Management
- Support project managers in the management of activities relating to System implementation
What We're Looking For
- Degree or master's degree with excellent marks in Economics/Finance, Statistics
- Sound technical and quantitative knowledge
- Background knowledge of the banking sector with respect to conventional and synthetic banking products and derivative products and mechanism of working
- Background knowledge of the banking sector with respect to valuation and related accounting practices, reconciliation logic, financial statement knowledge
Nice to Have
- Strong analytical, planning, creative problems solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Degree with an excellent final score in economics, finance, statistical or engineering subjects
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external parties in a professional manner
- Experience in Enterprise Risk Management implementation steps such as familiarity of data model creation, system implementation, UAT test cases preparations, production migration or upgrade steps, etc.
- SQL, visual basic, C#, or equivalent coding abilities are highly preferable
- Excellent usage skills of Microsoft Office tools, especially with the usage of visual basic functionality
