EXL Service.com (India) Private Limited seeks a Consultant to join a team focused on designing and optimizing language models to solve complex analytical challenges. In this role, you will apply your expertise to extract meaningful insights from unstructured data.
What You'll Do
- Design and optimize language models to analyze textual data, uncovering patterns and trends from unstructured information.
- Utilize sophisticated algorithms and methodologies to refine and improve model performance for accurate predictions.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in NLP and LLM models, helping to identify and adopt cutting-edge techniques.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address business challenges using LLMs, helping define requirements to build and scale models.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations that support decision-making processes.
- Document methodologies, experiments, and results, communicating complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist with hands-on work on NLP and Deep Learning models.
- Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering techniques, word embeddings, and vector databases.
- Experience with one or more of these tools: LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI Assistants API, or AutoGen.
- Strong knowledge of natural language processing techniques and their practical applications.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with NLP libraries.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to deliver high-quality results on complex projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
- A track record of staying current with NLP research and incorporating new techniques into applications.
Nice to Have
- Experience with the Azure stack (AI Search, OpenAI) and understanding of Agentic Architecture.
- Working knowledge of other programming languages besides Python.
- Knowledge of frontend components and full-stack integration.
- Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing frameworks.
