Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is hiring a full-time Construction Assessor to join our construction services team. You will be responsible for planning, executing, reviewing, and finalizing construction due diligence projects according to deadlines and within budget.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Oversee the quality of all project deliverables throughout the project life cycle.
- Coordinate the efforts of internal team members and external Partners to deliver projects according to plan.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct project site inspections.
- Write and finalize technical reports.
- Ensure the quality of all services and reports.
- Effectively communicate project expectations and progress to team members.
- Provide solid recommendations and solutions to internal teams and clients.
- Identify and resolve project issues.
- Deliver progress reports.
- Communicate and coordinate follow-up questions during the report review process.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or greater from an accredited university in architecture, construction management, or an engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in construction or a related field such as architecture, construction management, or engineering.
- Excellent internal and external communication skills.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering a quality product on time.
- Exceptional writing skills.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team.
- Comprehensive understanding of design processes, construction elements (contracts, cost, administration, scheduling, change orders), and funding/payment processes.
- Proficient in report authorship and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC).
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English fluently.
- Ability to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone, and via email.
- Visual acuity adequate to read information from printed sources and a computer screen.
- Ability to visit construction job sites and maneuver around and through active construction activities.
Team & Environment
You will be part of our construction services team, coordinating with internal members and external Partner Associates to deliver quality assessments.
