Altafiber is hiring a Connected Solutions Consultant to be the personal brand representative for every customer entering our store or calling in. This role is responsible for providing high-quality service, excelling in needs assessment, and delivering consultative sales for connected home solutions.
What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality service to all altafiber customers and potential customers in-store and via phone.
- Utilize outbound dialing with a focus on customer acquisition and upselling using connected home products and services.
- Initiate sales through lead lists while meeting defined productivity metrics.
- Effectively multi-task between account management, customer feedback, solution offering, product discussion, and service generation across multiple ordering systems.
- Assess customer needs to provide optimal communication, smart home solutions, and product applications that meet their needs.
- Offer helpful, professional, and courteous assistance on altafiber services beyond the store's immediate scope.
- Take ownership in thoroughly understanding the features and benefits of all services, products, bundles, and new offerings.
- Take ownership in knowing connected home devices and solutions offered.
- Take ownership for knowing and understanding our promotional offers.
- Take ownership for understanding the systems that support our products and services.
- Thoroughly understand all aspects of the store POS system, including sales order entry, returns, exchanges, cash management, inventory management, in-store technology, device setup, and reporting.
- Demonstrate an outstanding understanding and application of all store operating procedures.
- Demonstrate superior team skills that support other team members in serving customers and operating a professional store.
- Attain sales and service goals as defined by store manager and customer feedback.
- Provide consistent documented customer sales and follow-up.
- Successfully demonstrate a superior application of all training provided.
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 2 years of relevant telecommunications, retail sales, and customer service experience.
- Ability to assess needs, provide consultative solutions, and excel in a retail sales environment.
- Strong multitasking, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Two years of College/Technical School resulting in an Associate's Degree or equivalent.
- Relevant education and training courses.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position working from a retail store location and our Downtown Cincinnati altafiber Corporate office.
