Join a mission-driven team supporting the HDM Program for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role is central to ensuring reliable, secure, and automated software delivery through expert-level configuration and release management.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and execute deployments to PreProd and Production environments using Jenkins
- Act as the first point of contact for development teams using CI/CD pipelines
- Advise engineering teams on automating manual processes and improving deployment workflows
- Develop and maintain configuration scripts to enforce consistency and reduce errors
- Promote the use of version-controlled, scripted changes across environments
- Lead initiatives to integrate automation and artificial intelligence into release processes
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a DevSecOps or Release Engineer with a focus on configuration management
- Hands-on expertise with Jenkins for building, testing, and deploying applications
- Track record of supporting development teams in adopting automation best practices
- Ability to script configuration changes and ensure proper use of config management tools
- Experience driving adoption of automation and AI-enhanced workflows
- Familiarity with secure deployment practices to sensitive environments
