About the Role
The Configuration Consultant ensures precise setup and technical accuracy of RTSM platforms to support clinical study execution, working closely with technical and clinical teams to deliver reliable, compliant solutions.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain RTSM systems according to study protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather study-specific requirements
- Translate clinical trial designs into technical configurations
- Validate system setups to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Support user acceptance testing and resolve configuration issues
- Document configuration processes and system changes
- Provide technical expertise during system audits and inspections
- Troubleshoot and resolve system discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure data integrity across study setups and integrations
- Work closely with project managers to meet implementation timelines
- Assist in the development of configuration best practices
- Participate in system upgrades and version migrations
- Support integration with third-party clinical systems
- Maintain awareness of evolving clinical trial technologies
- Deliver configuration training to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations
- Respond to client inquiries related to system functionality
- Ensure adherence to data privacy and security policies
- Support study go-lives and system cutover activities
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams on validation documentation
- Participate in root cause analyses for system incidents
- Maintain accurate records of configuration changes
- Assist in the creation of system specification documents
- Stay current with industry regulations affecting RTSM platforms
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
