Cushman & Wakefield Global, Inc is hiring a Compressor Maintenance Technician to champion the upkeep, reliability, and safety of all compressed air systems and equipment. This role ensures facilities run efficiently by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting repairs, and assisting with installations.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair air compressor and vacuum pump systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including packaging machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop equipment, grounds equipment, and HVAC.
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review, create, and maintain assigned work orders within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, performing both reactive & preventative maintenance.
- Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarm systems, fire pumps, and related fire protection equipment.
- Identify and work with potential outside contractors/vendors from sourcing to quotation to job completion.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned.
- Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial or industrial compressed air systems & vacuum pumps.
- 2-3 years of related experience in commercial/industrial facility maintenance.
- Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.
- Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (commercial license may be required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Technical proficiency with work order management systems (CMMS).
- Current EPA certification or ability and commitment to obtain.
- Must pass a criminal background check and hair follicle drug screening.

- Associate’s degree or vocational/technical school diploma.
