This role is responsible for ensuring the organization consistently meets regulatory obligations and maintains a strong compliance culture. The Compliance Manager will lead regular assessments of internal processes, investigate potential compliance concerns, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine reviews of policies, procedures, and communications to verify alignment with current regulations
- Act as the primary internal contact for compliance guidance and the reporting of concerns
- Lead the development and delivery of compliance training programs for employees
- Coordinate internal self-assessments and monitoring initiatives to evaluate compliance performance
- Manage the review, drafting, and rollout of policies in response to new legal requirements
- Prepare and submit compliance reports, maintain the risk register, and escalate identified risks
- Serve as liaison during regulatory engagements, including inspections and information requests
- Oversee follow-up activities related to regulatory bodies such as SAMA, including audits and documentation
- Analyze past regulatory penalties to inform risk mitigation strategies
- Review and assess whistleblower submissions in a confidential and timely manner
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and policy implementation is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret legal frameworks for internal stakeholders are critical to success in this position.
