About the Role
This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing responses to regulatory changes affecting the organization. The analyst ensures policies and procedures align with new rules and supports enterprise-wide compliance efforts through documentation, collaboration, and risk assessment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor federal and state regulatory developments relevant to pharmacy benefit management
- Analyze new and proposed regulations to determine organizational impact
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to interpret regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain regulatory tracking systems and compliance calendars
- Draft internal assessments summarizing regulatory changes and deadlines
- Identify necessary policy or process updates in response to new regulations
- Support cross-functional teams in implementing compliance-related changes
- Document compliance activities and maintain audit-ready records
- Assist in preparing regulatory filings and required disclosures
- Conduct research on compliance topics and regulatory trends
- Facilitate training or awareness sessions on regulatory updates
- Evaluate compliance risks associated with regulatory gaps
- Maintain a centralized repository for regulatory intelligence
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to validate interpretation of rules
- Track implementation progress of regulatory response plans
- Ensure timely communication of regulatory deadlines to stakeholders
- Support internal and external audits related to regulatory adherence
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures
- Escalate high-risk or complex regulatory issues appropriately
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices in regulatory change management
