Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in local or state government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs, preferably in the data center industry or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of local government structures in the U.S. (state, county, township, and municipal levels)
- Experience working in and/or engaging with state and local-level government and regulatory bodies on data center and infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with local-level energy policies, tax incentives, and environmental regulations affecting data centers and Bitcoin mining.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Experience in lobbying, stakeholder engagement, or coalition-building at the state and local level.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Team player and ability to closely collaborate with legal, compliance, and business teams on policy and regulatory matters.
