Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Commercial Solutions Engineer to serve as a key member of the pre-sales team. In this role, you will work closely with account executives to demonstrate no-code automation solutions that solve complex security and IT challenges for customers.
What You'll Do
- Develop deep expertise in no-code automation and apply this knowledge to address customer challenges in security and IT operations.
- Create and deliver engaging presentations and demos that clearly communicate the value and differentiation of automation solutions.
- Lead the technical evaluation process with prospective customers, managing expectations throughout proofs of concept and trials.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to identify key use cases and support competitive account strategies.
- Enable channel and technical partners by supporting their pre-sales activities and sharing best practices.
- Provide market and customer feedback to product teams and contribute to the company’s knowledge base through documentation and automation stories.
- Help refine solutions engineering operations and metrics to enhance team effectiveness.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years experience in a solutions engineering or sales engineering role.
- Strong technical background, including experience working with APIs and a willingness to learn new cloud technologies.
- Proven ability to uncover customer needs and tailor technical solutions accordingly.
- Skilled in delivering persuasive demos and winning technical evaluations.
- Effective communication skills, able to engage both business and technical audiences.
- Passion for learning, open to feedback, and dedicated to client success.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer solutions.
- Analytical mindset capable of deriving actionable insights from complex data.
