About the Role

Delek US Holdings, Inc. is looking for a Commercial Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting daily commercial operations. This role involves working alongside Delek professionals, contributing to commercial activities, and leading a critical summer project focused on improving decision-making through data insights and process enhancements.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a summer project to design and deliver a data-driven solution that improves commercial decision-making
  • Gather, clean, and consolidate data related to trades, commodity movements, and market fundamentals from multiple internal and external sources
  • Build and maintain a structured dataset or dashboard that enables analysis of supply, demand, and pricing trends
  • Present project outcomes, methodology, and business impact to stakeholders at the end of the internship
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Successfully work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team seeking to add value to the Commercial organization

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Math, Engineering, or a similar field
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher with good academic standing
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week during the Summer Internship Program
  • Basic knowledge of data management and interest in commodity markets
  • A self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to record and present data in a clear and concise manner
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid software application skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good organizational and strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and desire for continual learning and self-development
