M&T Bank is hiring a Commercial Digital Assets Product Manager to own the design, development, and performance of stablecoin products for our Commercial clients. You will collaborate across business lines, technology, operations, and risk teams, as well as with strategic external partners, to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

What You'll Do

Manage all aspects of new product implementation and modifications, including designing and developing new services.
Review market developments to evaluate and recommend new services, products, or modifications to existing ones.
Support the development of a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital asset offerings.
Develop business case recommendations for executive sponsors.
Evaluate market entry products like coin issuance, tokenized deposits, wallet management, B2B/cross-border payments, reserve management, and crypto settlement.
Establish partnerships with key external entities in the digital asset sector.
Support work to integrate with existing and emerging blockchain infrastructure players.
Ensure compliance with regulations like KYC/AML and financial risk management; support the development of a stablecoin risk management framework.
Gather user feedback, monitor market trends, and analyze performance metrics to refine products.
Partner with Sales and Relationship Management to connect with customer needs and deliver sales‑enablement collateral.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree OR a combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience.
5 years’ proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience.

Nice to Have

1-3 years of product management experience in fintech, payments, or blockchain/digital assets sectors is highly desirable.
3–6+ years of product management experience in fintech, payments, or blockchain/digital asset sectors.
Basic understanding of blockchain technology, stablecoin mechanics, and smart contracts.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for digital assets.
Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into user-centric solutions.
Familiarity with stablecoin issuers (e.g., USDC, USDT), blockchain infrastructure players, on-chain analytics, and interoperability protocols.
