About the Role

Softchoice is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to help businesses seize the opportunities of digital transformation by challenging customers to disrupt and innovate. We are a software-focused IT solutions and services provider that equips organizations to be agile and innovative. In this role, you will lead with the customer at the forefront, providing value by helping them bridge business gaps and reach goals through technology.

What You'll Do

  • Lead with the customer at the forefront of everything you do, considering selling to be a strategic partnership.
  • Provide value by helping customers bridge gaps in their business and reach their goals through technology.
  • Understand the customer's business thoroughly to lead with personalized market insights and compelling cases for change and innovation.
  • Make cold calls and meet face-to-face with existing customers.
  • Collaborate with executives from the world's most innovative tech companies to deliver fresh and bold new solutions.
  • Take care of fellow team members, uphold excellent business acumen, expertly manage pipeline, and show true leadership when challenges arise.
  • Constantly improve with training, education, and resources available in the Softchoice community to support company-wide growth.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years experience in a business-to-business sales environment, creating and executing a territory management plan.
  • Proven tenacity in pursuing net new clients, developing business, and networking with passion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High-level commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building.
  • Understanding of solution selling and creating value for business clients.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • A driven, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work individually and in a team environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience in a relevant technology industry.
