Lithia & Driveway is hiring a remote Accounts Receivable Collector to manage past due accounts and maintain our financial health. You will play a key role by resolving account issues and supporting store operations.

What You'll Do

• Contact consumers via phone, email, and digital platforms to collect outstanding debts.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Utilize skip tracing tools and techniques to locate consumers with outdated contact information.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all communications and payment agreements.
• Ensure compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other applicable laws.
• Use collection software and CRM systems to manage accounts and track progress.
• Follow up on broken payment promises and escalate accounts when necessary.
• Meet or exceed monthly collection goals and performance metrics.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in debt collection, skip tracing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in skip tracing tools and investigative techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Familiarity with FDCPA and other relevant consumer protection laws.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, collection software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
