WEX Inc is seeking a Collections Support 2 Hourly professional to manage delinquent and complex account situations. In this role, you will utilize your professional knowledge to determine appropriate approaches to achieve resolution and prevent escalations, balancing risk, quality, and customer retention.

What You'll Do

Make inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate immediate payment.
Work emails in a shared group inbox to resolve account balances.
Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with customers.
Provide on-going education to customers on terms and payment methods.
Manage multiple portfolios with varying risk levels.
Apply judgment and experience to decisions balancing risk, productivity, and corporate objectives.
Use departmental policies and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act to guide collection decisions.
Operate multiple systems and collections tools proficiently to contact decision makers.
Perform skip tracing on required accounts using multiple systems.
Complete additional duties and participate in special projects as required.

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma with 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
At least one year of transportation industry customer support experience.
Basic accounting and Skip Tracing knowledge.
Analytical skills and sound decision-making judgment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
Organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to be productive while maintaining quality; results-oriented and self-motivated.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Google Sheets.
Working knowledge of the FDCPA and applicable Federal laws.
Flexible and adaptable to change; detail-oriented.
Proficient computer skills including Office and/or Google suite products.
Familiarity with AI and an eagerness to learn more.
Must pass a successful background investigation.
