Cargill is looking for a Collections Specialist to implement the end‑to‑end accounts receivable and collections processes, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant financial transactions. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, analyzing data, and working closely with internal teams to improve operations and deliver excellent service.
What You'll Do
- Manage the end‑to‑end collections process by monitoring overdue accounts, prioritizing follow‑up activities, and supporting timely customer contact to maximize cash collection.
- Perform investigations and resolve discrepancies impacting collections by analyzing accounts receivable data, coordinating with cross‑functional teams and customers, and supporting appropriate corrections.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of billing or invoicing records by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
- Maintain financial records related to accounts receivable processes, assuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to verify collections information and ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports related to accounts receivable to support informed decision‑making.
- Implement initiatives and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best‑in‑class standards in accounts receivable, proposing necessary updates.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant collections work experience.
- English proficiency at a C1 level.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with data processes for enterprise resource planning systems (ERP JDE/SAP, Salesforce, NIS).
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Previous working experience in a Shared Service Center.
