Schaeffler is looking for a Co-Op - Humanoid Robotics to support our engineering team in the design and development of humanoid joint actuators. You will contribute through comprehensive design solutions and detailed documentation.
What You'll Do
- Liaise with engineers to understand functionalities, specifications, and design requirements of humanoid joint actuators.
- Produce comprehensive design solutions in 2D design/surface modeling or 3D design/solid modeling.
- Produce working designs from engineering specifications of mechanical mechanisms, electrical systems, structures, and other components.
- Calculate and define key features to meet required functional specifications.
- Produce tools or parts lists and maintain work documentation and records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and business needs.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing an academic degree in an engineering field applicable to robotics.
- Maintained a 2.5 GPA or higher.
- Self-starter who seeks opportunities to support engineers in their work.
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.

- Background or interest in humanoid robotics.
