Construction & Property Group – UK is hiring a CNC Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in woodworking to translate design concepts into precise, manufacturable outputs. You’ll be responsible for developing CNC programs and creating accurate shop drawings to drive our production processes.
What You'll Do
- Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for woodworking machinery.
- Interpret design specifications to create detailed shop drawings for production.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to maintain high-quality standards.
- Maintain documentation of CNC programs, drawings, and process workflows.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in woodworking operations.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in CNC programming, specifically for woodworking applications.
- Experience in creating shop drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code).
- Strong knowledge of woodworking processes, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Skilled in CAD/CAM software for design and manufacturing.
Nice to Have
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Wood Technology, or a related field.
