About the Role

The role involves maintaining cloud environments, automating operations, and supporting development teams with infrastructure as code and monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain cloud-based systems for performance and availability
  • Implement automation for provisioning and configuration management
  • Support incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes
  • Manage identity and access controls across cloud platforms
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements
  • Optimize resource utilization and cloud spending
  • Design and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
  • Support disaster recovery and backup strategies
  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues in cloud environments
  • Work with containerization and orchestration technologies
  • Enforce infrastructure as code practices using configuration tools
  • Participate in on-call rotations for production support
  • Evaluate and integrate new cloud services and tools
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines for faster and safer deployments
  • Ensure platform resilience under high load and failure scenarios
  • Collaborate on capacity planning and scalability initiatives
  • Assist in migration of services to cloud-native architectures
  • Promote observability and logging best practices
