This role is for a Cloud Solution Architect supporting a client in optimizing their Microsoft 365 environment. You will conduct in-depth evaluations of tenant health, covering apps, services, and network infrastructure, to ensure peak performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the overall health of Microsoft 365 tenants, including Office, Teams, and Outlook configurations, to identify inefficiencies and risks.
- Review network readiness for cloud workloads, focusing on bandwidth, latency, and connectivity best practices.
- Analyze usage patterns and adoption metrics to uncover engagement gaps and recommend targeted improvement strategies.
- Advise on governance, compliance, and operational processes to strengthen platform resilience and security posture.
- Produce clear, professional documentation summarizing findings, insights, and recommended actions for both technical and leadership audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of direct experience administering and optimizing Microsoft 365 environments.
- Proven expertise with M365 apps, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and OneDrive for Business.
- Strong understanding of network requirements for cloud services and experience troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, device health, and tenant-level monitoring tools such as Secure Score and Compliance Manager.
- Ability to interpret service health events, analyze complex configurations, and support incident response planning.
- Experience in technical consulting, with a focus on assessment-driven engagements and process maturity evaluations.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills across technical and executive stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience tuning network performance specifically for Microsoft 365 workloads.
- Knowledge of Entra ID, including identity security policies, Conditional Access, MFA, and privileged access management.
- Familiarity with Copilot for M365, including Copilot Chat and Copilot Agent functionalities.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks like ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, or SOC 2 Type II as they relate to operational resilience.
