Rackspace is hiring a Cloud Practice Engineer with deep expertise in Azure, Active Directory, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of critical cloud infrastructure and virtual desktop environments for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Design, deploy, and manage complex Azure infrastructure solutions
- Architect and implement secure Active Directory and identity management services
- Configure, optimize, and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Microsoft cloud stack
- Collaborate with teams and clients to translate requirements into technical designs
- Implement automation and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) for efficient deployments
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale Azure environments
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, including hybrid identity and Azure AD
- Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) design and administration
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and networking (Azure Networking)
- Ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems
- Excellent communication skills for client and team collaboration
