Adfinis AG is looking for Junior, Professional, and Senior System Engineers to join our Cloud Native team. You will build and operate highly resilient, containerized IT infrastructure for clients across all industries, with responsibilities scaling from helpdesk tasks to leading complex architectural projects.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to customer projects and keep operations running.
- Take on helpdesk tasks, support requests, and routine maintenance.
- Ensure systems run reliably under SLA.
- Lead smaller projects and build infrastructure for startups to large enterprises.
- Steer complex, multi-month projects and design robust, resilient architectures.
- Find out what customers need.
- Build and deploy systems that keep customers' businesses running.
- Ensure cloud platforms run smoothly, scale smartly, and fail gracefully.
- Write clean documentation.
- Participate in meetings with customers and help them solve tech issues.
- Tackle tech issues and implement lasting fixes.
- Contribute to fair, sharp skills assessments.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for cloud orchestration, automation, and GitOps.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (OpenShift, SUSE Rancher), CI/CD (ArgoCD), monitoring, GitOps (GitLab), and IaC (Terraform).
- Interests and skills in troubleshooting and securing cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of RedHat, SUSE, and HashiCorp products.
- Proficiency in German (at least C1).
- Intermediate English skills (at least B2).
- Reliability and striving for top-notch work.
- Collaboration and willingness to help.
- Good communication skills with technical peers and customers.
- Dedication, energy, and drive.
Nice to Have
- Full proficiency (C2) in German.
- GitLab PSE and/or CKA certifications.
- Experience in software development.
- Experience with customers in regulated industries.
