Always Friday is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to support the company's growth and technical objectives.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure high availability
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Develop and enforce security policies and compliance standards
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and cost
- Plan for disaster recovery and implement robust backup strategies
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing and operating production cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and IAM best practices in the cloud
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills and ability to document systems and processes
