Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle deployment projects, managing configuration, implementation, and handover in cloud environments.
- Create and maintain detailed deployment playbooks to ensure consistency and efficiency across implementations.
- Advise clients on infrastructure optimization, including GPU instance selection and rightsizing to balance inference speed with total cost of ownership.
- Support secure deployment of AI workloads, including RAG and fine-tuning pipelines, with attention to generative AI-specific security risks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to transition solutions smoothly from proof of concept to production.
- Conduct post-deployment reviews to assess system health, monitor resource utilization, and recommend improvements.
- Act as a primary technical contact, maintaining clear communication and building trust through actionable insights.
- Drive automation and orchestration initiatives using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and Prometheus.
- Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of deployment methodologies.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure, including deployment and optimization.
- Familiarity with LLM deployment patterns and the security challenges associated with generative AI.
- Experience evaluating GPU and CPU configurations for performance and cost tradeoffs.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash to automate deployment workflows.
- Strong technical documentation skills, particularly in creating deployment guides and operational runbooks.
- Solid understanding of Linux, networking, HTTP, DNS, and API technologies.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver tailored solutions in dynamic environments.
- Experience with monitoring and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and Prometheus.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of F5 technologies or products.
- Red Hat OpenShift certification or equivalent experience.
- Background in post-deployment tuning and performance optimization.
