At Wilmington Trust N.A., we are seeking a CLO Client Administrator II to join our Loan Market Solutions Division. You will be an integral part of the CLO & Loan Administration team, providing trustee and custodian services to sophisticated loan asset managers. Your focus will be on tracking daily portfolio activity, managing client relationships, and implementing improvements to enhance the client experience.
What You'll Do
- Support the Relationship Manager with oversight of client relationships.
- Perform daily cash application and position reconciliation.
- Conduct daily and monthly tie-outs of underlying loan characteristics.
- Liaise with auditors, underwriters, CLO managers, private debt managers, and other involved parties.
- Assist with global asset set up and maintenance.
- Process trades and wires for daily trading activity.
- Strategize, recommend, and implement innovative ideas for improved daily workflows.
- Gain exposure across the entire lifecycle of servicing loan clients, including account setup, KYC procedures, global asset setup & maintenance, notice processing, warehouse reporting, and CLO/compliance reporting & waterfall payments.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience with direct client contact, OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 year’s relevant work experience with direct client contact.
- A strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL.
- Exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with a strong balance of qualitative and quantitative abilities.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as contribute on an individual basis.
- Familiarity with various loan products, such as Bi-Lateral ABL Facilities, SMAs, Private Funds, MM & BSL CLOs, and Business Development Companies.
- Professional work experience at a CLO Trustee, Loan Agent/Bank, Middle Office Provider, or CLO Manager.
- System/Application experience with Clearpar, Solvas/CDO Suite, SEI, Wall Street Office, or LoanIQ.
