Cochlear Europe Limited is hiring a Clinical Technical and Sales Specialist to support and grow our Cochlear Implants & Acoustics business in Northwest Italy. You will be the primary point of contact for hospitals, clinics, and medical professionals, ensuring they achieve optimal outcomes with our technology while driving commercial success in your region.
What You'll Do
- Grow the Cochlear Implants and Bone Conduction business across the assigned region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with ENT surgeons, audiologists, and hospital decision-makers.
- Identify new commercial opportunities while strengthening ties with existing customers.
- Support marketing initiatives, congresses, and local awareness events.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Participate in national and international events to promote Cochlear solutions.
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-surgical technical support in hospital and clinic settings.
- Train healthcare professionals on Cochlear implants and acoustics technology.
- Assist with complex case mappings, integrity tests, and troubleshooting.
- Advise clinics on documentation, best practices, and clinical studies.
- Support customers in organizing local workshops and training sessions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Directors, ENT Surgeons, Audiologists, Engineers, and Speech Therapists.
- Support clinics in tendering processes and procurement negotiations.
- Promote after-sales products and services, identifying growth opportunities.
- Manage activities and insights through Salesforce Health Cloud CRM.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Service, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
- Increase awareness of Cochlear implant technology within the medical community.
- Share scientific research, clinical guidelines, and best practices with stakeholders.
- Support the development of clinical studies, scientific publications, and conference presentations.
- Report competitor activities and propose strategic initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Biomedical Engineering, Audiology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the medical device or hearing aid industry.
- Proven experience in tenders and healthcare procurement processes.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Salesforce Health Cloud CRM & Microsoft Office.
- A self-motivated, proactive, and strong team player.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%).
- Based in Lombardia, Piemonte, Valle d’Aosta, Liguria, or Toscana.
