What You'll Do
Lead and supervise clinical teams throughout the execution of clinical studies, ensuring medical protocols are followed and volunteer safety is maintained. Contribute to the planning and refinement of study designs, offering medical insight to improve study outcomes. Perform essential medical tasks specific to each trial, including assessments and monitoring. Conduct thorough screening of potential volunteers to ensure eligibility and safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Hold a recognized medical degree and be currently registered with the GMC, without conditions requiring APS
- Maintain up-to-date ALS or ACLS certification
- Demonstrate fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Have at least two years of post-foundation experience in prescribing
- Show recent clinical experience in one of the following: internal medicine, general practice, emergency medicine, respiratory care, or infectious diseases
- Possess practical skills in phlebotomy and cannulation
- Bring experience working within the UK healthcare system
