Rho seeks a Clinical Research Associate II / Sr. CRA to perform and coordinate all clinical monitoring and site management activities. This senior role ensures adherence to ICH GCP, FDA guidelines, and SOPs while maintaining audit-ready data quality across clinical studies.
What You'll Do
- Perform all site monitoring visit activities, including PSV, SIV, IMV, and COV visits
- Participate in the site selection process and provide feedback for corrective actions
- Contribute to developing and reviewing protocols, study tools, and trial materials
- Mentor, train, and co-monitor junior clinical team members
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clinical sites and internal teams
- Attend and present at meetings and conferences, including Investigator Meetings
- Participate in the RFP process and business development meetings
- Contribute to internal initiatives and SOPs within the Clinical Operations community
- Perform both onsite and remote monitoring and study closure activities across multiple protocols
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS, preferably in life science, nursing, pharmacy, or a related field
- 4-5+ years of on-site monitoring experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company
- Demonstrated medical/therapeutic area knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
- Proficiency in MS Office and use of EDC systems
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and ability to manage multiple sites and protocols within deadlines and budgets
- High-character traits: honesty, integrity, willingness to learn and train, loyalty, accountability, and mutual trust
- Critical thinking and ability to craft novel, practical solutions
- Agile and adaptable, with ability to change quickly, embrace risk, and learn from outcomes

- Psychiatry experience, preferably in MDD

Work Mode
This is a remote position requiring 8-10 site visit days per month (up to 80% travel). Candidates must be located on the West Coast or in the Central United States.
