About the Role

Highmark Health is looking for a Clinical & Population Health Analyst to create data-driven insights that identify actionable opportunities aligned with the Quadruple Aim of Healthcare. You will serve as a consultative subject matter and technical expert, leveraging advanced analytical skills to aggregate, analyze, and understand complex data patterns.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, execute, disseminate, and interpret clinical and population health analyses, metrics, and reports using clinical, member, financial, and administrative data.
  • Identify, develop, and/or monitor actionable opportunities for improving health outcomes, clinical quality, and costs of care.
  • Efficiently and effectively manage projects to successful completion.
  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external clinical, administrative, operational, financial, and technical stakeholders.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner by providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise.
  • Support Senior and Lead level analysts with consultative, technical, subject matter, and business expertise mentorship.

What We're Looking For

  • 2 years of leading the design, execution, and dissemination of clinical and population health reporting, analyses, and studies of progressive scope and complexity.
  • 2 years of experience with coding languages, analytical software, systems, tools, and processes using claims, clinical, enrollment, and provider data.
  • 1 year of project leadership in a complex, matrixed environment (payer and/or provider preferred).
  • 1 year of providing analytical consultation to clinical, administrative, operational, and financial stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Economics, Health Sciences, Informatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, or related field OR 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Economics, Health Sciences, Informatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, or related field.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $57,700.00 - $107,800.00
